How we work
(our Process)
- Scope & Submittals — confirm specs, materials, and traffic control requirements; provide data sheets and sample layouts.
- Scheduling & Staging — coordinate lane closures, night work, and crew rotations for throughput and safety.
- Field Execution — calibrated stripers, verified bead rates, and MUTCD-compliant setups.
- Quality Checks — wet film thickness, retroreflectivity targets, adhesion checks, and photo verification.
- Turnover — punch lists closed, as-applied logs submitted, and maintenance guidance provided.

Why Central Seal
- State-of-the-Art Fleet & Shop — in-house fabrication and maintenance minimize downtime, accelerate turnaround, and keep equipment uniform from job to job.
- Safety & Quality — trained, certified crews and documented QC/QA steps on every shift.

Scope: High-build waterborne and thermoplastic lines for interstates, divided highways, and municipal networks; symbols and legends per MUTCD and state supplements.
Quality: Film thickness checks, bead application verification, and retroreflectivity targets per agency requirement. Substrate prep, cleaning, and temperature/humidity checks logged.

Roadway marking FAQs
Do you work nights?
Yes, as specified for traffic or temperature windows.
Do you handle RPMs?
Why it Matters:ESOP balances are in addition to your 401(k) and never reduce your paycheck.
How it Works: When you leave or retire, the plan repurchases your shares at their current value.
Why it Matters: More than 400 employee‑owners across our family of companies share in the same upside.
Airport Markings
We design, install, maintain, and remove pavement markings and signs for highways, interstates, airports, and municipal roadways.
Airport Markings
- New Construction
- Maintenance / Retrace of Existing Markings
Scope: Runway, taxiway, and apron markings with FAA Part 139 compliance, color accuracy, and layout fidelity to plans and specs.
Operations: Work windows set with operations staff and GC; NOTAM-sensitive planning; night or off-peak operations.
Quality: Precise layout for centerlines, hold-short bars, aiming points, etc. Color matching, bead application verification, and documentation of layouts and quantities.

Airport Marking FAQs
Do you work under escort?
Yes—escort and radio protocols followed per airport rules.
Can you restripe without shutting down a runway?
Windows and phasing are planned to minimize operational impact.
Pavement / Markings Removal
We design, install, maintain, and remove pavement markings and signs for highways, interstates, airports, and municipal roadways.
Pavement/Marking Removal
Scope: Removal of existing lines and legends ahead of resurfacing, lane shifts, or safety improvements.
Methods:
- UHP Water-Blast with Vacuum Recovery: Fast, clean removal minimizing substrate damage; vacuum keeps debris contained.
- Grinding/Scarifying: Efficient for heavy build or deep thermoplastic; profile matched to overlay plans.
Hand Units: For tight areas, symbols, or sensitive substrates.

Removal FAQs
Will removal ghost?
We’ll recommend the method that best limits scarring or ghosting given the substrate and follow-on work.
Do you provide layout for re-striping?
Yes—when paired with our striping scope.
Roadway Signing
We design, install, maintain, and remove pavement markings and signs for highways, interstates, airports, and municipal roadways.
Roadway Signing
Scope: Fabrication and installation of MUTCD-compliant signs, posts, and hardware for state and local roadways.
In-House Fabrication: Reflective sheeting grades, aluminum blanks, breakaway posts, and custom legends fabricated in-house.
Installation: Ground-mount installation with proper mounting heights, offsets, and clearances. Coordination with utilities and right-of-way requirements.

Roadway Signing FAQs
Can you do rapid replacements after storms/crashes?
Yes—stocked materials and on-call crews are available by contract.
Do you fabricate in-house?
Yes—standard items and custom legends per plan.
